According to the U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Hospitals Honor Roll, NYU Langone Health is the top hospital in New York State and No. 3 in the country. The ranking includes both NYU Langone’s inpatient locations in Manhattan and NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn and NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island. The report also lists NYU Langone as the No. 1 Neurology & Neurosurgery facility in the country.
The number one academic health system in the country
Released earlier this year, the 2022- 2023 U.S. News & World Report “Best Graduate Schools” listed NYU Grossman School of Medicine as the second best in the nation for research. With both of these rankings combined, NYU Langone is firmly positioned as the number one academic health system in the country that is wholly focused on research, education, and patient care.
Beyond this, it is nationally ranked amongst 14 adult and 3 pediatric specialties and listed as high performing in 20 adult procedures. It is both a general medical and surgical facility and a teaching hospital. This evaluation of NYU Langone Hospitals also took into account data from NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, NYU Winthrop Hospital, NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, Rusk Institute at NYU-HJD, and Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital of New York at NYU Langone Medical Center.
